Inclusion
Our Vision
Inclusion and wellbeing are central to our vision of Championing Excellence for Everyone. We believe that children flourish when they feel safe, understood and valued. By creating a culture of belonging, deliberate calm and high expectations, we ensure that every child — regardless of need, background or starting point — is supported to overcome barriers, develop resilience and achieve their full potential. Our inclusive practice is woven through every aspect of school life, enabling all pupils to learn, grow and succeed together.
Inclusion in Practice
Inclusion is central to how we work each day. We are committed to ensuring that every child feels valued, supported and empowered to achieve their very best.
We recognise that children learn in different ways and may need different levels of support at different times. Our approach is proactive, responsive and rooted in a strong understanding of individual needs. By identifying and removing barriers to learning early, we enable all pupils to participate fully in the academic, social and emotional life of the school.
Our Inclusion Team, led by the SENCo, works in close partnership with teachers, pastoral staff and families to ensure provision is carefully planned, purposeful and consistent.
Inclusion in our school is not simply about additional support — it is about belonging. We foster a culture where diversity is respected, differences are celebrated and excellence is expected and nurtured for all.
