Collaboration & Professional Learning

At Cheadle Heath Primary, we work closely with other schools and nationally recognised organisations, including the Prince’s Teaching Institute (PTI) and the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). These partnerships provide high-quality, subject-specific professional development that strengthens staff expertise, teaching practice, and curriculum provision across the school. Engagement in local school networks, such as the Edgeley Cluster and our collaboration with Cheadle Hulme Independent School, supports structured professional dialogue, sharing of best practice, and curriculum coherence. As a result, teaching is consistently strong, the curriculum is ambitious and well sequenced, and pupils benefit from engaging learning experiences that promote excellent outcomes and wider life opportunities.
