Welcome to Year 3/4 Hawking Class!
In Hawking Class, Mrs Waites teaches the children on a Monday and Tuesday with support from Mrs Wall. Ms Shelmerdine teaches on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with support from Mrs Pierce. We also work alongside Mrs Murphy, Mrs Dyson and Ms Ralph as part of the LKS2 team. We are both experienced teachers, who have previously taught in Key Stage One and Two. We love teaching through the school's creative curriculum and immersing the children in exciting topics over the year.
Miss Shelmerdine is mum to Albert and Mrs Waites has 2 daughters, Chloe and Abi. Outside of school, Miss Shelmerdine has a passion for theatre whilst Mrs Waites is a champion cricket player with her local team.
