Welcome to Cheadle Heath Primary School
Cheadle Heath Primary School is a place where everyone is a learner and where everyone matters. Our aim is to give children a life-long love of learning through providing a nurturing, vibrant learning environment in which they can thrive and develop into self-confident, caring members of the community.
In December 2021, Ofsted confirmed that we continue to be a GOOD school with “... a strong sense of community.” The report describes a school we are proud to be a part of. A school where the children are happy and thrive in the wonderful atmosphere created by our staff. “Pupils enjoy coming to this welcoming and caring school” where “Leaders ensure that pupils follow the school’s values to ‘aspire, believe, achieve’.” Our children recognise that everyone is treated equally, regardless of their background: “They know that everyone is different, but that all will be included in their school” which highlights our inclusive nature.
We have high expectations for all which are embedded through our school values. We strive for children to believe in themselves, to be resilient and aspire to be the very best they can be we are delighted that Ofsted recognised this as a strength of the school:
- “Leaders and staff are ambitious for all pupils. As a result, they achieve well.”
- “Leaders have built a curriculum that reflects their high aspirations for all pupils. This includes disadvantaged pupils and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).”
We are committed to providing a happy, stimulating and secure environment in which children will develop into independent and life-long learners. We consider that education is a partnership and want to work closely with parents /carers to give the children the very best we can.
