School Development Plan

How do we set our targets and priorities?

We continually work on a cycle of improvement and we are committed to rigorous and continuous self review. We have a comprehensive programme of monitoring and evaluation that involves analysis of data, observations, book looks and talking to children (pupil voice). We  consult other stakeholders including parents, who we survey periodically. From this self evaluation emerges a view on the key priorities and targets.

Our SDP links to the termly Headteacher’s report, School Self Evaluation and the Ofsted framework. At the very heart of what we do is the impact our identified improvement priorities have on the outcomes for our children. The key priorities receive the most attention in terms of staff training and development time.

The SDP also reflects a response to local (Edgeley Cluster and Stockport Local Authority) and national priorities and initiatives.
